Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2025 Posted September 30, 2025 Just getting in from work, didn’t see a playoff watching thread up yet. Hard to believe that former twin Rob Refsnyder is leading off a playoff game for the Red Sox in 2025. But he apparently did have a solid year.
Parfigliano Verified Member Posted September 30, 2025 Posted September 30, 2025 The other NY team is winning. That stinks.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2025 Author Posted September 30, 2025 This game is too stressful for me. Glad it’s not the twins 😂 jk
The Great Hambino Verified Member Posted September 30, 2025 Posted September 30, 2025 Skubal was on fire. Coulda maybe had a shot at a complete game shutout if he could cleanly field a ground ball

Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted October 1, 2025 Author Posted October 1, 2025 Every year I watch these playoff games and think about how far away the twins are from seriously competing for a title. USAFChief, Parfigliano, Vanimal46 and 1 other 4

Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted October 1, 2025 Author Posted October 1, 2025 Who gets more clutch hits with two outs. Always the story of the postseason
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted October 1, 2025 Author Posted October 1, 2025 Well this has gotten hairy in a hurry

Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted October 1, 2025 Posted October 1, 2025 Jhonkensy Noel starts at first base for Cleveland today haha. This guy makes Eddie Julien look like a glove wizard and makes Joey Gallo look like a contact hitter. But Vogt wanted the platoon advantage. Sometime I just... Skubal was back to being brilliant after a couple of meltdowns late in the regular season. Crochet was brilliant. The Yankees load the bases with no outs in the bottom of the ninth and don't score, and Cleveland gets Ramirez to third base with no outs in the bottom of the ninth, and can't score him. File under: It's not just the Twins Danchat 1
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted October 1, 2025 Author Posted October 1, 2025 Poor Reds. They aren’t long for this world Danchat 1

Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted October 1, 2025 Author Posted October 1, 2025 Dodgers are struggling hard here Danchat 1
Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted October 1, 2025 Posted October 1, 2025 Gotta give credit to the Reds for sticking around... Dodgers had 40 different guys pitch this year and their bullpen will probably be their downfall. They shoulda made a bigger offer to get Duran so the Phillies wouldn't get him.

They were dealing with Falvey so the lesser offer probably secured Duran for Philly.
