twinstalker Verified Member Posted September 20, 2025 Posted September 20, 2025 How is getting hit by a ball responsible for forearm tightness two innings later? I've got some swampland to sell you in Florida.
Danchat Verified Member Posted September 20, 2025 Posted September 20, 2025 Small sample size, but Laweryson has been one of the best pitchers in the bullpen since getting called up... I get that he's a non-prospect but why haven't they been giving guys like him a shot over the DFA fodder they're throwing out there? It was the same logic years ago that this team refused to give chances to the likes of Nick Anderson and Ian Hamilton when they had easily scrapple arms at the end of the pen. I dunno about Sands, he's been bad since the trade deadline. He might start 2026 in AAA for other teams, but he's one of the best relievers under contract next year! I am fascinated to see what they concoct for the 2026 bullpen given how few options they have... can't wait to see what AAAA talent they march out next year.

He's likely talking about lottery odds. Rockies and Nats are ineligible for a top ten pick. We'll find out about this intimately in a year or two. Richie the Rally Goat 1
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted September 21, 2025 Posted September 21, 2025 Lookin' like this stinker was the high point of the weekend.

IMO, PIT is determined to keep the 2nd place. There is still time to catch PIT. But so what if we do. It won’t improve the Twins for several years. This whole team, top to bottom, is an absolute mess! I can’t imagine why anyone would want to buy into the team unless they can start replacing people from top to bottom. And that requires majority control—but apparently they only sold 40%. Seems like they just wanted to pay down the massive debt. Or, more likely, the banks forced them to pay down the debt. Maybe the Pohlad goal was to keep the baby Joe entertained away from the rest of Pohlad other businesses/money so he doesn’t screw them up too??? Maybe this is all a game to keep the man-child contained? I am pretty sure they can see he is an idiot too. Why else did they have to step in on the Correa deal …other than because Joe couldn’t get a deal done. A deal that both sides wanted to make!
JADBP Verified Member Posted September 21, 2025 Posted September 21, 2025 I really do hope Joe reads Twins Daily! Hi Joe! You’re an idiot!!
