For some reason, the sublime Jason Benetti isn't on the Tiger broadcast, but the guys are good.  They're really nailing the problem with a few of the Twinks hurlers- too many pitches that right out of the hand never even challenge the strike zone, running up pitch counts, getting into hitters' counts.  They're focused on Urena, since he used to be a Tiger, but SWR, Festa, Zebby, same deal.

Hatch and Urena have been unexpectedly useful. Topa perhaps a bit expectedly helpful..

why didnt they get guys like these to be multiple inning guys , b4 unloading ,  might of made big difference last couple years instead of wearing out in august-   dont get there logic  your right though they have done well

Koskie as a Twins HOF player is a real stretch if we’re being honest. He had 3 good seasons above 4 WAR, zero All Star awards, zero annual awards.

Those are my thoughts also , he has been playing town ball for Loretto for some years now ...

Oh, Kahnle's in.  We used to eat him alive as a Sox (Sock?).  Be nice to knock him around a bit for old time's sake.

Agreed. I asked on another thread if it is necessary to have a hall of fame inductee every year.

I have good memories of him overall. He turned it around from being a bad fielding 3B to a guy who had some web gems from time to time on Baseball Tonight. But Twins HOF? Nah.

Urena trending toward the long relief role here for remainder of 25.

Eisenreich,

Eisenreich only played 2 or 3 seasons for the Twins, but certainly got over adversity with his medical issues. Goltz...20 game winner,,,8 seasons...82 wins over mainly 6 seasons..with some horrible teams in the 1970's lives in Alexandia. MN

Yes he did turn out to be a good fielding 3rd baseman  and yes he was awful in the beginning  , but so was gaetti ( if your old enough to rememberhim )who also ended up being an excellent 3rd baseman  , today our manager and coaches don't seem to have a clue how to help players get better  ...
