Well, the Hammer is out for two weeks. This really makes the Twins overloaded with LH hitters. Plouffe and Dozier are the Twins only everyday RH hitters, with Doumit, Florimon, and Hicks as switchers. Doumit and Florimon are stronger LH and Hicks RH.

Believe it or not Florimon's strong side is his right side. According to both coaches and his minor league stats. I'm not sure if that's a really good thing, or a really bad thing.

His GOAL should be to get Hicks over to 3rd? Sometimes I strongly dislike how low of a bar the Twins's announcers set.

 

Edit: Seriously! Bert's analysis is "bad at bat." Guarantee that if Hicks had singled and Florimon had bunted Hicks over, he'd be getting nothing but praise for a great AB...meanwhile, Hicks would still be at 2nd with one out. Ugh.
