I found the following on the official Twins TV website here

Can I authenticate access to Twins Baseball through the MLB.TV app by using the credentials from my pay-TV provider?

Yes, authenticated pay TV providers will be able to authenticate to Twins.TV by Opening Day 2025.

They announced Paul Bunyon is included but I can not find any way to Authenticate it. Anyone figure out how to do this yet so I can watch all games through the app?

Came home from work yesterday and noticed that Midco had a new development. Two channels 625 and 638 were just a Twins Logo over a moving basepath background with hold music on a short loop. The Channel guide currently lists both channels as MLB Network. 625 has always been the MLB Network. 638 used to be a dormant channel number space. Now they both have the Twins Logo. I was unable to watch the MLB network (my most watched channel) last night because the Twins logo with hold music had replaced it. Both channels are the same this morning so I assume the game will be on and it doesn't appear to be part of an upgraded package.

Still no announcement from Midco. But, lo and behold... the Twins Logo showed up at the 11th hour.

Anyway... this was probably intended. That's what I can only assume.

I paid my $100 bucks for streaming. I was told that Cable was coming but I became impatient so I bit on that hook. I paid my $100 bucks for streaming even with an already paid for functional cable subscription.

No word... no nothing... Just a quiet 11th hour slide into the Cable heart... so I paid my $100 bucks for streaming and the Twins got me.

Don't get me wrong... I have been advocating for the Twins to get everywhere to everyone since a long time ago so they can have my $100 bucks. Weirdly this is progress. Mismanaged progress but progress. So... OK... Twins... you got my $100 bucks... Go get a left handed bat with the money.

Don't have cable, don't have dish, tried to find Twins.TV as a Roku app and it wasn't there. It just brought me to the MLB.TV app which would make me pay $150 for every game that WASN'T Twins.

I see the stupid app on my computer, but I'm not watching baseball on my computer all summer.

I get that I'm middle aged (old) and technologically illiterate, but how did they not understand that this is pretty much 80% of the demographic they are trying to market to?

The Twins App is not a standard App on Roku but you should be able to download the app through the search function.  You could also just cast your phone or computer to your TV with a variety of different apps that allow mirroring your phone to a TV or through settings in Windows.

Have to say, that having to use a system where I have to cast my phone doesn't sound like it should be a $100 investment.

But if you average out how many times you will get frustrated, it's a very minimal investment per frustration.

Yeah, I guess if I only bother to watch five games or so won’t be that bad.

Get a son/daughter or niece/nephew to set it up.  That’s what they are there for.

The easiest thing to do would be to download the app.  That should be fairly easy on any smart TV.  If have downloaded apps with a Roku stick and it's very easy.  Search Youtube.   The videos are only around 2 minutes so it's no big deal.

I have cast my phone a few times when I was traveling and once at a friend's lake cabin.  That takes a little technically inclination to set-up the app but again, youtube instructions make it easy once you pick the app.

I'm not good at this stuff, but I can cast from my phone.

I'm saying if the Twins are going to charge for this service, casting should not be the primary way to do this.

I hear you.  I think you should be able to download the app but I’m not going to talk too smart because it appeared for me on DirectTV stream automatically.  My mother in law used to love the Twins but has Dish network which doesn’t carry the Twins App.  I offered to set up the app in addition to her TV and when she found out it was another app, another account, and more money she just passed.

I use the MLB.TV app on my Roku. I paid for Twins.TV on my computer and it worked just fine when I logged into my MLB.tv account in the Roku app.

But the more games you watch, the more frustration you have, you will lower the "unit price" per frustration. 🙃

Apparently only "participating" TV providers can authenticate to use the app. And the only one participating is Xfinity. Not Comcast/Midco and not DirecTV. So at least with DirecTV, you can only watch live or on your home DVR. If you want to watch a non-live game while traveling you will have to pay for a Twins.tv subscription. Ridiculous.
