Apparently you did not see the pass defense Detroit had tonight they showed on TV.

Vikings made 0 adjustments after halftime. Darnell was under pressure the whole game, the rushing game was decent, when they used it, but they didn't run enough, and the Vikings receivers couldn't get open against man to man coverage.

Yeah, they can run on long yardage downs and when they are outside the 20’s. 
 

But on expected run downs; typically short yardage, they haven’t been able to all year.
