Suddenly 2-1 to start the season looks pretty achievable with Malik Willis at QB for the Packers.  Watching this defense play in front of the home crowd agains San Fran is going to be interesting.

Even without McCaffrey, the 49ers are scary good. Way, way better than the Giants in all respects outside of not having a iDL guy like Lawrence.

SF gave up 19 pts to the jets. Their Dfence is average and we can exploit it this coming Sunday.  When their offense is off the field, SF isn't that great.

I like this move. He's a solid producer for the defense and he's not close to breaking the bank.

Purdy is pretty good against pressure, mostly because he does a lot of quick release dump offs. It will be interesting to see if Flores backs off the blitzing.

The positive thing is that the Jets have a similar defense, so they'll have a pretty solid idea of what didn't work and what did. Well, I'm not sure anything did work. But maybe Flores will have a better idea.
