Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted September 8, 2024 Posted September 8, 2024 As the giants call a timeout 😂
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted September 8, 2024 Posted September 8, 2024 One more sack for good measure.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted September 8, 2024 Posted September 8, 2024 Wow what a win, my goodness.

Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted September 8, 2024 Posted September 8, 2024 Also, the kicker did a bleeping great job
TheLeviathan Old-Timey Member Posted September 8, 2024 Posted September 8, 2024 Suddenly 2-1 to start the season looks pretty achievable with Malik Willis at QB for the Packers. Watching this defense play in front of the home crowd agains San Fran is going to be interesting.

Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted September 9, 2024 Posted September 9, 2024 Matthew stafford is one hell of a quarterback. Every time I see him play he’s getting absolutely abused by the defense. But continues to make huge throws. Danchat 1
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted September 9, 2024 Posted September 9, 2024 Wild Sunday night game. Wish the rams could have held on. Parfigliano 1
Fatbat Verified Member Posted September 9, 2024 Posted September 9, 2024 As of week 1, Vikes have the best defense in the NFL.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted September 10, 2024 Posted September 10, 2024 We’ll see how for real the team is next week going against SF Danchat 1
Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted September 10, 2024 Posted September 10, 2024 Even without McCaffrey, the 49ers are scary good. Way, way better than the Giants in all respects outside of not having a iDL guy like Lawrence.

When their offense is off the field, SF isn't that great.
gunnarthor Old-Timey Member Posted September 11, 2024 Posted September 11, 2024 Not sure what thread to put this in but Vikings extended Harrison Phillips for two years. https://www.dailynorseman.com/2024/9/10/24240959/minnesota-vikings-harrison-phillips-two-year-contract-extension I like this move. He's a solid producer for the defense and he's not close to breaking the bank. TheLeviathan 1

nicksaviking Community Moderator Posted September 11, 2024 Posted September 11, 2024 Purdy is pretty good against pressure, mostly because he does a lot of quick release dump offs. It will be interesting to see if Flores backs off the blitzing. The positive thing is that the Jets have a similar defense, so they'll have a pretty solid idea of what didn't work and what did. Well, I'm not sure anything did work. But maybe Flores will have a better idea. gunnarthor 1
