Home plate ump is having a bad game, but the second base ump made the proper call on the force play.

It hit him because he was guessing inside fastball and guessed wrong. If shifty calls aren't made earlier it's a different AB.

It was a nasty slider/sweeper he swung at. trying to protect the inside of the plate, because of the previous strike call inside that was a ball by 3-4 inches maybe?

It's exhausting following the Twins Gamecast on ESPN or MLB.com.  I'm about ready to go to Des Moines and watch the I-Cubs in person so I can love baseball again.  MLB and the three true outcomes (Strikeout, Walk, or Homerun) is getting old, especially for an old guy like me.

You're losing me man.

Difference between minors and majors is hitters in majors have phenomenal eyes. The really good ones also have good plate discipline. 

Most mlb hitters will tell you:

a) they probably get ONE pitch to drive per AB

b) it's easier to hit ahead of the count
