My wife and I have youtubetv and are keeping it.  What that means though is there no Twins games.

I am thinking of asking my wife if I can also get Fubu to watch Twins.  I will cancel at end of season or if the Twins suck.  It would be an extra 80 dollars a month.  Is that crazy?

Not really when you consider 4 things:

1} It's really only for about half a year.

2} Gotta believe you're a big enough Twins fan to justify it no matter what, LOL.

3} The plan the Diamondbacks have set in place is for $99 a month to watch them. So the $80 is in line with what's out there for other teams.

4} Depending on how many TV's you have in your home, what you're paying for Youtube TV combined with Fubu isn't much different than your neighbor next door who's paying for regular cable. (He's going to have more channels, pay less $ per channel, but probably paying a little more than you would be).

I mean, obviously it's all about how comfortable one is with their finances.

$480 to watch the Twins for a year on a single use (for just about everyone) platform wouldn't be justifiable for me, but it's pocket change for others.

Not sure what your access is like? If you can get Prime for $10/Month year round with lots of stuff to watch, you can do what I do from Cincinnati. I have an MLB subscription through Prime & it’s $149/year. I get ALL 30 teams games. Watch the Twins from my home probably 120 games per year & have streamed them on my computer in Turkey & other countries in Europe over past 2 seasons. I think it’s a great value. Only games that are blocked are a couple Friday nights when Apple TV gets the rights to a game.

158 Twins games - it’s $120 annually for Prime & $149 for MLB subscription. $269/158 games is $1.70/game if you only watch Twins games. Plus you get a bunch of offerings from Prime.

Why would it be an extra $80 a month just to watch Bally Sports for you? Fubo is anywhere from $60-80 per month depending on which plan you select, and YouTubeTV for existing users is $72.99 a month.

I signed up for fubo on a trial run the cheapest tier with Bally was $80, but then because of local sports broadcast fees and taxes on top of it comes out to a bit over $100 a month. Gave up on it after that and trying to MLB TV with VPN route. It's just a giant mess all the way around

I am trying now to convince a co-worker in the same situation as me to split an account.  Maybe even her daughter in college too.  Maybe we can split it 3 ways.
