The last 3-0 game I remember was this one

I think the dolphins and Steelers had one in the slop maybe 15 years back. When a punt stuck in the sod nose down

We went to the Bears game and I thought I had witnessed a bad football game. Welp, after today, I'm rethinking that assertion. That was the worst game I have ever watched till the end.

My paranoid thought is that we won't see JJ the rest of the season. And then things could get very interesting this offseason if the Vikings move on to a rookie QB.

If he refuses to sign, deal him. Worst idea ever, but still..... When Hunter walks and they get a fourth, those low ball offers will look great. I mean, is hate this, but what's the alternative? One more year of him with a rookie QB?

The heck was that game? How did we go from having a terrible defense last year to a lights-out one so fast? And how did the offense become this terrible?

Alright, those are rhetoric questions - Flores is the best DC in the game and some young talent is stepping up, and O'Connell is calling clunker after clunker. How the heck was this the gameplan coming out of the bye week? Clearly, this system is tailored to a pocket passer QB like Mullens and it took that long to bench Dobbs? The injuries are getting ridiculous and it's alright if the offense struggles because of them, but this was a horrific game. Thank goodness the defense has balled out or we'd be in the running for a high draft pick.

It isn't the coaching. Dobbs isn't good. He wasn't in either of the two places he was before. He isn't here. I watched the highlights, and more than a few sacks and hurries Dobbs just didn't make a decision. Not all, clearly... But this idea that some magic sauce exists that will make Dobbs effective is just not accurate.

Agreed on Flores. And add I said earlier, Pace has been great

O'Connell just spent the past 2 weeks deciding to go with Dobbs and ran out a very similar gameplan as they ran in Chicago and it worked even worse... and then he benched Dobbs for Mullens and the passing game improved immediately. My issue with the coaching is O'Connell's insistence on using Dobbs as a pocket passer when he clearly isn't that. He should have made the switch to Mullens over the bye week to fit with what he was going to call - if there is "no magic sauce" that exists to get Dobbs to be effective, then it was irresponsible to be starting him in the first place.

This is the lowest my opinion has been of KOC in his tenure. By no means am I calling for him to be fired... However, he's not showing much willingness to adapt to the QB's strengths so far after Kirk.

Mullens's first pass attempt slapped off the palm of a Raider's defender before being completed to Hockensen. Mullens has bounced around the league himself and I do not get the vibe that he is going to be the guy who saves the season, but it will be fun to watch. I wouldn't be surprised if we see Jaren Hall before the season is over. It's cool Mullens was on San Francisco's super bowl team a few years ago, though.

I think this is kinda my thinking too. It's been clear since the second half of the Saints game that defenses were going to 1) blitz from the outside to keep him in the pocket area and/or 2) stunt to confuse the guards. We haven't seemed to adapt to either of these at all.

KOC has some good plays but a lot of them take too long to develop and Dobbs isn't a pocket passer, he's going to bolt if the rush gets there. Cousins stood in the pocket and took a lot of hits. So, maybe Mullins is a better fit. I admit, he played a lot better than I expected. But next year, I think we either resign Cousins or draft McCarthy.

I'm in no way around the other options are good options...... Just that wet know one isn't.

As for KoC, I don't know what to think. I doubt there is a coach on the planet that could make Dobbs and a fourth string RB and one good wr, and one good te look good...... especially with O'Neil forgetting how to block.
