I'm in no way around the other options are good options...... Just that wet know one isn't.

As for KoC, I don't know what to think. I doubt there is a coach on the planet that could make Dobbs and a fourth string RB and one good wr, and one good te look good...... especially with O'Neil forgetting how to block.

The amount of injuries that are piling up make it difficult, absolutely - but we just put up 13 total points in two games against bottom 5 defenses. The Raiders defense is basically Crosby and a bunch of guys, the Bears secondary was half-injured and playing a bunch of rookies and looked great too. I'm trying to keep my expectations low, but even when we were healthy the offense under Kirk was only averaging 21 points a game. O'Connell's plan for the run game was flawed from the start.

Heck, this next week against the Bengals I'll consider 14 points scored acceptable and anything more than that a job well done. Though we'll have to see what the injury report looks like. Sounds like JJ will be alright.

And I think that's on the QB more than the coach, but I'm ok if we disagree.....Dobbs is a one trick pony, and that trick isn't passing, alas....to be clear, I don't love KoC as a coach (don't dislike him either). I think he needs a great QB (which, let's face it, the history of the NFL shows that's true of every coach the last 20 years, exceptions proving nothing).

Flacco would have made some sense instead of trading for Dobbs, but there's no point in bringing in another guy who'd need to learn the system. Mullens is fine enough, and his San Fran numbers are better than anything Flacco has done since his Baltimore days, though Mullens is less secure with the ball. Let's roll with the guy who's been O'Connell's chosen #2 for the past two years.
