Twins having a lot of fun at the plate today feasting on mediocre pitching.

But I'd settle for them to just replant the trees in center field.

You mean in the stands behind center field, right?

Although, I could be up for putting some maple and oak trees in center field. There could be pine trees in right and rose bushes in left.

We can line the basepaths with petunias.

False. #1 in likely hood of surviving a hit from a safe or anvil falling from the sky.

Thats right... The ground is soft or something... You end up crawling out of a human sized hole after you are struck.

Hicks almost killed the pitcher there. I am glad that it missed the guy, because that could have been a career ender.

Seriously... I mean I'm seriously...

There were people on Twins Daily who were concerned about Parmelee from a defensive stand point.

I had no idea but they had me concerned about it figuring they have seen him in the minors or something.

Not only has Parmeleee been good defensively... He has been about 6 levels above good.

Yes you can improve but not this much. The guy has serious defensive game and I assume he has had it all along.

I'd guess it's because he just doesn't look very athletic. Non-athlete = bad defense. Actual results are irrelevant.

My theory is the "Acme Safe Co" and "Acme Anvil Co" make very poorly constructed and/or designed products. I bet they went out of business.

You don't hear much about the "Acme Explosives Co" anymore either, come to think of it.

Or the "Acme Rocket-Powered-Roller-Skate Co."

Or the "Acme Poison Birdseed Co."

Or the "Acme Piano Co."

I could go on.

Probably wasn't a lot of cash to be made with Coyotes being the primary customer.

I don't know, money never seemed to be an issue.

Dozier has found it.
For now anyway. Sometimes it just takes patience. Speaking of patience, I hope the Twins get a lot of runners on so that Hicksie can go for a long ball and get the cycle.

This is from Wikipedia:

"While their products leave much to be desired, Acme delivery service is second to none; Wile E. can merely drop an order into a mailbox (or enter an order on a website, as in the Looney Tunes: Back in Action movie), and have the product in his hands within seconds.

In one of the later episodes, it is revealed that Acme is "A Wholly-Owned Subsidiary Of Roadrunner Corporation", suggesting that either the Road Runner owns the Acme Corporation and built the products to backfire on his enemies or the Road Runner controls the natures of the products to backfire on Coyote."

I believe that you are making a great point here, and I admit to having been biased due to his appearance...but he has now made me a believer in his defense.

Patience is a virtue... All you need is just a little patience... 15 years later... Chinese Democracy.

I'm cautiously optimistic that Hicks, Dozier, and Parmelee have started to figure things out.

How old do you think he was: when he came to the conclusion that his name was Farquhar and there were better last names to be had.

"Son, this world is rough

And if a man's gonna make it, he's gotta be tough

And I knew I wouldn't be there to help ya along.

So I give ya that name and I said goodbye

I knew you'd have to get tough or die

And it's the name that helped to make you strong."

I wonder how many runs the Mariners would have scored today if Doumit wasn't so bad at pitch framing.

Ok, 3:50 pm and I finally feel safe saying this: We are going to smack Bonderman around for a bunch of runs today. Count on it.

Good timing... Perfectly done...

Every year... I'd fill out my college basketball brackets and I would get clobbered. My champion would be knocked out in the 1st round.

I had to come up with a system that worked... I played with a bunch of them... Same result...

Finally I found one... And it worked and I haven't missed a single game in 3 years of filling out brackets.

I wait til the games are over and then fill it out. It works every time!

The games won't be the same for you with Farquhar and Furbush leaving town. Maybe TR can work a trade.
