glunn Community Moderator Posted June 2, 2013 Posted June 2, 2013 Diamond looks very hittable today -- 3 hits in 1st inning.
notoriousgod71 Verified Member Posted June 2, 2013 Posted June 2, 2013 That was a Blackburn inning of 2008 if ever I've seen one.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 2, 2013 Posted June 2, 2013 He threw well if throwing well means finding the wheelhouse. Every ball was tagged pretty good. Good Fortune to escape without damage... Let's see if can settle down going forward.
notoriousgod71 Verified Member Posted June 2, 2013 Posted June 2, 2013 The Twins were apparently playing indoor baseball in 2010 per Dick. He must be referring to games in Tampa.
glunn Community Moderator Posted June 2, 2013 Posted June 2, 2013 Bonderman is looking very sharp today. Hitting the corners and keeping the ball down.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 2, 2013 Posted June 2, 2013 News from around the league... Domonic Brown is still on fire. Another Homer today.
glunn Community Moderator Posted June 2, 2013 Posted June 2, 2013 So much for Bonderman being easy pickings.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 2, 2013 Posted June 2, 2013 So much for Bonderman being easy pickings. It was just one inning... Plenty of time for rusty mistakes. Hopefully The Twins are more inclined to exploit them... Yesterday they were not.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 2, 2013 Posted June 2, 2013 News from around the league: Matt Harvey is getting killed by the Marlins.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 2, 2013 Posted June 2, 2013 Parm with the Double... Let's keep it going.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 2, 2013 Posted June 2, 2013 Bummer... I hate it when they throw us out at third.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 2, 2013 Posted June 2, 2013 Not great baserunning by Parm. Actually I was Ok with it... Nobody out... It took a perfect throw.
glunn Community Moderator Posted June 2, 2013 Posted June 2, 2013 This is what I was hoping for in the 1st. Wife wants to go to Costco, but we need a huge lead for that to happen.

glunn Community Moderator Posted June 2, 2013 Posted June 2, 2013 They have a Costco on Rodeo? Im trying to imagine that in my mind. Costco is a 5 mile drive, but a lot cheaper.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 2, 2013 Posted June 2, 2013 Costco is a 5 mile drive, but a lot cheaper. Heading to Compton?

Guest USAFChief Guests Posted June 2, 2013 Posted June 2, 2013 Heading to Compton? As I understand it, you can get to Compton from Beverly Hills pretty easy, but getting back through the checkpoints and roadblocks is such a hassle that it isn't worth the trip.

As I understand it... The last time someone from Beverly Hills actually went to Compton was 1974.
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted June 2, 2013 Posted June 2, 2013 I'm going need some experienced confirmation. Hey North... Is this true? Absholootely......hic...
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 2, 2013 Posted June 2, 2013 Diamond has gotten over the 1st inning... So-So's
Guest USAFChief Guests Posted June 2, 2013 Posted June 2, 2013 Perfect throw from Parms. Well played all around. It helps that Morales doesn't run well, but still.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 2, 2013 Posted June 2, 2013 Seriously... I mean I'm seriously... There were people on Twins Daily who were concerned about Parmelee from a defensive stand point. I had no idea but they had me concerned about it figuring they have seen him in the minors or something. Not only has Parmeleee been good defensively... He has been about 6 levels above good. Yes you can improve but not this much. The guy has serious defensive game and I assume he has had it all along.
glunn Community Moderator Posted June 2, 2013 Posted June 2, 2013 Heading to Compton? Culver City. Compton is for BBQ. I just picked up breakfast on Beverly Drive -- 5 minute walk and saw 3 MILFs.
The Greatest Poster Alive Provisional Member Posted June 2, 2013 Posted June 2, 2013 Bonderman.... ahhh memories
