Gibby Provisional Member Posted May 7, 2013 Posted May 7, 2013 There was a movie called Stalag 17, done in the 50s, and I believe this was a takeoff of that. We could poke fun at the Nazis then and they didn't make any mention of Jew or Concentration Camps. Great movie. They didn't exactly staff pow camps with the cream of the crop, especially after the US got involved.
Ultima Ratio Verified Member Posted May 7, 2013 Posted May 7, 2013 That was an error? Pfft. Brian, dude, gross.
stringer bell Verified Member Posted May 7, 2013 Posted May 7, 2013 I am saddened by the sudden conclusions on the best topic of the night. Has anyone considered what Ginger might have learned in Hollywood, or compared the potential comparative vocalization levels of the two candidates? Ginger clearly would have had at least twice the OPS of Mary Ann, who would have had a tiny sample size.So you vote Ginger? Like I said, my best friend thought Ginger, but he was wrong.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 7, 2013 Posted May 7, 2013 Speaking of posts, how many to get promoted from AAA? I might need to make a few more game threads to make the Bigs. it was such a long time ago. I can't recall... I do remember that neither Nick or John or Seth or anyone sent me a congratulation email or post. You are right... The game thread can drive the number.
Pius Jefferson Verified Member Posted May 7, 2013 Posted May 7, 2013 Mary Anne No other shows taken the hottest baton from the Ginger/Mary Anne argument. WKRP had Jennifer and Bailey but it's never approached Ginger/Mary Anne.

Whammy Verified Member Posted May 7, 2013 Posted May 7, 2013 What's up with the Boston fans? Aren't they in first place? Why are the stands empty? It not that cold out there.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 7, 2013 Posted May 7, 2013 Mary Anne No other shows taken the hottest baton from the Ginger/Mary Anne argument. WKRP had Jennifer and Bailey but it's never approached Ginger/Mary Anne. Im going with Bailey... Loni was too much.
snepp Verified Member Posted May 7, 2013 Posted May 7, 2013 Snepp find some pictures of varicose veins for a reply. I found a very disturbing then-and-now picture of Mary Ann and Ginger. I decided against its use.
glunn Community Moderator Posted May 7, 2013 Posted May 7, 2013 So you vote Ginger? Like I said, my best friend thought Ginger, but he was wrong. Actually I would vote Mary Ann. I was just disappointed by the lack of arguments for Ginger.
stringer bell Verified Member Posted May 7, 2013 Posted May 7, 2013 I don't know about the OPS of Ginger vs. Mary Ann, but sample size might have a lot to do with presentation.
Physics Guy Verified Member Posted May 7, 2013 Posted May 7, 2013 I always thought Bailey was sneaky hot.
stringer bell Verified Member Posted May 7, 2013 Posted May 7, 2013 Im going with Bailey... Loni was too much.Baily, Baily, Baily!
glunn Community Moderator Posted May 7, 2013 Posted May 7, 2013 Mary Anne No other shows taken the hottest baton from the Ginger/Mary Anne argument. WKRP had Jennifer and Bailey but it's never approached Ginger/Mary Anne. Bailey clearly, but with Jennifer watching and eventually joining in.
Physics Guy Verified Member Posted May 7, 2013 Posted May 7, 2013 You just need more posts. Now would be a good time to do that. I see 400+ is still AAA, so I've got my work cut out for me.
glunn Community Moderator Posted May 7, 2013 Posted May 7, 2013 Justin reached for that one. Not his pitch,

Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 7, 2013 Posted May 7, 2013 Mary Ann is an old lady stoner now. Bob Denver and her were fiends.
nicksaviking Community Moderator Posted May 7, 2013 Posted May 7, 2013 Just got here. Was anyone else annoyed that Gardenhire pinch ran for Willingham? Classic Gardy move that I disagree with. In a tie game in the ninth and two outs, the odds are probably higher that Willingham's spot in the lineup will come around again then they are that the difference between Willingham's speed and Escobar's speed will create an immediate run.
Physics Guy Verified Member Posted May 7, 2013 Posted May 7, 2013 Which Angel? I was always partial to Kris (Cheryl Ladd). I know that is probably not the popular pick.

Yeah Yeah Yeah... Baseball talk is 3 doors down. This is sitcom talk.
Pius Jefferson Verified Member Posted May 7, 2013 Posted May 7, 2013 Bailey clearly, but with Jennifer watching and eventually joining in. This is also the correct answer in the Ginger and Mary Anne argument.
Reginald Maudling's Shin Provisional Member Posted May 7, 2013 Posted May 7, 2013 Ginger was easier. Stuck on that island, do you want to mess around and get the stop sign? Mary Ann=Vavra, Ginger= Ullger.

I'm annoyed with most of Gardy's decisions, unless it's pulling a struggling pitcher before he implodes.

Escobar was coming in anyway... Gardy was economizing.
