one_eyed_jack Verified Member Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 No Big Canadian, no Plouffe and no Parm. Interesting. Sounds like something you'd say as part of a fast food order.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 Vikings draft Jeff Locke P Pittsburgh Pirates in the 5th Round. It's Ok... The Twins didn't want him anyway. :fenforcer:
Joe A. Preusser Verified Member Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 Why on earth are we taking a punter in the 5th round. There are value corners, ILBs, etc still available.

You want DeVries with that? (I know, I'm mispronouncing his name.) Can't stick around for the game. Here's the eye-candy - come back to page one now and then if you need to.

Guest USAFChief Guests Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 I don't mind Plouffe getting a day off, but why do it on a day you're facing a LHer?

Ultima Ratio Verified Member Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 We shall see whether Hernandez is a legit option today. I fear he's going to get blown up.
glunn Community Moderator Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 We shall see whether Hernandez is a legit option today. I fear he's going to get blown up. I will be happy if he makes it though the first inning without giving up a run.
Ultima Ratio Verified Member Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 Santana would have had that.
Guest USAFChief Guests Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 Tough break there. Make a good pitch, break a bat and don't get rewarded.
jorgenswest Verified Member Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 That missed strike call to Baker extended the inning 9 pitches. Fortunately he got the next guy, but it is going to shorten the number of innings he pitches. In his postgame news conference Gardy is sure to talk about high pitch count. Will anyone ask if part of that number is on the catcher?

How do you feel about the extra pitches (and the double) caused by Mauer's half-hearted effort on the foul pop off Kinsler that landed in the dugout?

Guest USAFChief Guests Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 Whew...got out of that inning unscathed. Beltre didn't miss that by much.
Guest USAFChief Guests Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 Nice baserunning by Hicksie. 1st and 3rd, nobody out. Odds we get one run? 2-1 against?
B Richard Provisional Member Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 How do you feel about the extra pitches (and the double) caused by Mauer's half-hearted effort on the foul pop off Kinsler that landed in the dugout? Not sure if that was sarcasm but that ball was absolutely uncatchable. On a different, and genuine note, does anyone think Mauer has been striking out more often this year? I haven't seen all the games, and maybe it's just unfortunate timing, but I've seen him K more than in the past.
Guest USAFChief Guests Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 It's a Chiefsie spamfest. Check the post count, loser.
Guest USAFChief Guests Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 Not sure if that was sarcasm but that ball was absolutely uncatchable. Tough to say since he couldn't be bothered to lean over the railing.
