Duffey, not Duffy

Warning: nitpick alert.

My pet peeve has finally reached the point where I can't not say something.

Tyler Duffey has been in the Twins organization for nearly ten years now since being drafted on June 6, 2012. Ten years! Yet that doesn't seem to be a long enough time for people to learn to spell his name.

Pay attention, now. D-U-F-F-E-Y. There is an E between the second F and the Y. It's not difficult, and moreover it's just common courtesy to spell someone's name correctly.

Thank you for letting me rant, and my apologies for airing this probably trivial complaint. No offense intended.

Others have made this comment before ... I know @stringer bell has ... and sometimes autocorrect does what it wants despite better intentions. Honestly, this one doesn't get to me as much as people brutalizing the spelling of Mientkiewics ... I mean, come on ... it's not that difficult!

I wouldn't say that ... he gets brought up rather often, as in ... 'wth did we do that?' ... with every blown bp opportunity.  (And others have brought up that one a few times, too.) Whenever I see Rodgers, I wonder what musical is being talked about?
