Taxi Squad

Does anyone know who is on the Twins taxi squad this year? Since we’re on our first road trip, it might be interesting to know. Thanks.

A lefty, Jim  Ignatowski, has just been signed by the Twins as a relief pitcher and added to the taxi squad.. He had been pitching in an independent league in NYC, according to his agent,, Louie DePalma.  However a later report stated that the signing had been delayed, pending a drug screen.

I thought that was a typo, and the poster meant taxi squid.

As in, the Pohlads are too cheap to even buy gas station sushi. So which Twins players are experiencing the physical and psychotropic effects of suspect seafood?

But seriously, I haven’t heard anything about a Twins taxi squad in 2022.

I’ve seen a few notes about other clubs bringing a player or two along, sometimes when there is a developing injury situation. Also saw a note that the Cardinals aren’t bringing a taxi squad on their road trip, so maybe it’s not a universal thing anymore.

I was wondering the same thing as 36 players are on the St. Paul roster, and it seems teams will need "Covid" replacements when travelling to Tornto as you need to be vaccinated to play in Canada.
