Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted June 19, 2021 Posted June 19, 2021 It's hard to get a real feel for a stadium from television but Globe Life really looks unimpressive.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted June 19, 2021 Posted June 19, 2021 the batter's boxes are so jacked up. kills me as the groundskeeper I am

h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted June 19, 2021 Posted June 19, 2021 And Dallas Truck World ad on the mound. Talk about tacky. I can't believe MLB allows that. Dobnak is so horrible.
stringer bell Verified Member Posted June 19, 2021 Author Posted June 19, 2021 And the Twins go 1-2-3 in the top of the first. Texas gets a lead off double.

Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted June 19, 2021 Posted June 19, 2021 mound logos are the tackiest thing and need to go away immediately

h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted June 19, 2021 Posted June 19, 2021 The pitcher should immediately scuff it up with his spikes. It is just wrong.

Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted June 19, 2021 Posted June 19, 2021 yeah not a fan of this park. the turf, the blind spots in the corners.

Greglw3 Verified Member Posted June 19, 2021 Posted June 19, 2021 I wonder what the calculation is on Kirilloff starting vs Kepler? As of now, I think Kirilloff hitting lefties much better and overall better as well. That’ll be interesting to watch going forward.
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted June 19, 2021 Posted June 19, 2021 19 pitchesin two innings. Damn. And Sano keeps getting at bats......

One thing to consider is that Kepler is a better defensive outfielder at this time.

I don't mind Kepler playing, it's Sano that is not needed now.
twins_89 Verified Member Posted June 19, 2021 Posted June 19, 2021 I'm wondering if Kirilloff is going to play a lot at 1B with Buxton/Kepler/Larnach as the starting outfield. Sano is getting close to playing himself out the lineup.
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted June 19, 2021 Posted June 19, 2021 Playing outfield "Not as easy as it looks." Really? Playing outfield, and covering all that ground, looks easy? WTF!
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted June 19, 2021 Posted June 19, 2021 And Dobnak's ERA crawls under 8 at 7.97!
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted June 19, 2021 Posted June 19, 2021 Kepler looks like he could use a few more games in St Paul.
