RickOShea Verified Member Posted June 15, 2021 Posted June 15, 2021 I understand Bremer and whoever are broadcasting from Target Field. But when the Twins are on the road, at least quit saying here (referring to Target Field). It's disconcerting to the fan.
wavedog Verified Member Posted June 15, 2021 Posted June 15, 2021 We do lead the league in Center Fielder’s running into walls. Hopefully he is ok - good to see him stay in the game.
Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted June 15, 2021 Posted June 15, 2021 Clearly our outfielders are the clumsiest in baseball... Also, long time no see, Chargois.

RickOShea Verified Member Posted June 15, 2021 Posted June 15, 2021 Twins who play in the outfield lead the league in whip.........wall hitting is prolific
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted June 15, 2021 Posted June 15, 2021 So a guy found his dog being attacked by a kangaroo, and knew exactly what to do to de-escalate the situation and save his dog. This was in 2016 I think.
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted June 15, 2021 Posted June 15, 2021 I know other people have said this too, but I’ve seen enough of Simmons.
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted June 15, 2021 Posted June 15, 2021 It's like they didn't learn anything from Buxton. Celestino is not that good to play shallow. If the staff is having him play shallow, they are just not learning. Several extra base hits could have been caught as non collision outs if he was just playing at a reasonable depth. That and his adventurous routes.
operation mindcrime Verified Member Posted June 15, 2021 Posted June 15, 2021 What are we thinking Duffey in the bottom half?
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted June 15, 2021 Posted June 15, 2021 10 hits and only 3 runs. RBI are meaningless and useless stats anyway........
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted June 15, 2021 Posted June 15, 2021 Will that important stat regarding shifts cost us this game?
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted June 15, 2021 Posted June 15, 2021 J. T. “Shaggy” Chargois facing Josh Donaldson:

h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted June 15, 2021 Posted June 15, 2021 Our pitchers just think they can throw it down the very middle and they will be OK. Amazing.

Not "so" important, but not meaningless and useless. At all. I like that about Sano's offense, I gotta grab something. Definitely part of the picture, and an important part. Sure could have used some tonight. From Sano, your declared best hitter on the team.....

twins_89 Verified Member Posted June 15, 2021 Posted June 15, 2021 Whatever magic the team had for putting together pitching staffs the last couple of years has completely disappeared. It's shocking just how bad the Twins pitchers are at this point.
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted June 15, 2021 Posted June 15, 2021 2020 Robles is back tonight. I suspect as the season progresses, we will see a lot more of it. People were anointing Maeda an ace for a 2 month hot streak! Not the case.
SanoMustGo Verified Member Posted June 15, 2021 Posted June 15, 2021 I certainly hope Robles will be on the trading block. He has been very fortunate so far this season. I am expecting his luck to run out.
stringer bell Verified Member Posted June 15, 2021 Author Posted June 15, 2021 If the Twins were going to use two bench players in the top half, they should have run for Sanó with Gordon.

h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted June 15, 2021 Posted June 15, 2021 At least I can root for Virginia in the CWS. Go Cavaliers!
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted June 15, 2021 Posted June 15, 2021 I hope Celestino was watching that catch.
operation mindcrime Verified Member Posted June 15, 2021 Posted June 15, 2021 Another winnable game squandered!!!! Get to know 'em!
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted June 15, 2021 Posted June 15, 2021 Farrell gets high leverage, and tanks. Robles chokes. Hitters 1-7 RISP. Homers were solo. Headed for the American League cellar.
twins_89 Verified Member Posted June 15, 2021 Posted June 15, 2021 The Twins bullpen leads all of MLB with 18 losses, yet it still feels like they've blown more games than that.
