denarded Verified Member Posted May 31, 2021 Posted May 31, 2021 @howeda7 beat me to it. I turn on game to watch a low and away pitch to Sano and he stands over it and heads to dugout. So so tired of this. Please stop the experiment.

Another Doctor: " We could trade him to the Yankees, where he will flourish".

Almost seems in some cases to happen overnight. But, Cruz had such a good start, despite missing some games, that it's hard to believe just 4 weeks later it's time to cut bait. There were signs last year. After September 8th, he hit .154 and OPS'd .523 with 1 HR. He was great in April though.

Cruz has an OPS under .700 for the month of May with three homers and six RBI despite hitting #3 or #4. Yes, he’ll hit better because he’s got a great approach and he’s smart, but I’m thinking he’s starting to decline.
RickOShea Verified Member Posted May 31, 2021 Posted May 31, 2021 You guys make great and accurate comments about Cruz. It makes the Sano situation even more laughable.

shortround81 Verified Member Posted May 31, 2021 Posted May 31, 2021 I shouldn't laugh, but BWAHAHA! Refsnyder: 0 Outfield Wall: 1

SanoMustGo Verified Member Posted May 31, 2021 Posted May 31, 2021 Seem to be having trouble with Lopez again. We are getting nothing from the guys we need: Sano, Cruz and Donaldson...again.

stringer bell Verified Member Posted May 31, 2021 Posted May 31, 2021 That wall jumped right out in front of Refsnyder.
SanoMustGo Verified Member Posted May 31, 2021 Posted May 31, 2021 Sano with 13 k's in his last 19 AB's, 1 GIDP, 1 hit, 1 walk
SanoMustGo Verified Member Posted May 31, 2021 Posted May 31, 2021 I will say that Garver has appeared to make the necessary adjustments. Perhaps next season they move him to 1st, and let the young guys catch.

SanoMustGo Verified Member Posted May 31, 2021 Posted May 31, 2021 Garver and Kiriloff could split duties at 1b, with Kiriloff getting the majority of the reps, and Garver and Kiriloff could also swap L/R DH duties. Ohh wait, Sano..LOL!
SanoMustGo Verified Member Posted May 31, 2021 Posted May 31, 2021 Berrios at 70 pitches...does Rocco let him come out for the 7th?

RickOShea Verified Member Posted May 31, 2021 Posted May 31, 2021 Now that was a Major League at bat by Refsnyder.

RickOShea Verified Member Posted May 31, 2021 Posted May 31, 2021 During the off-season a lot of managers spend their time looking at video. Rocco is at Office Max, buying supplies for next season.
