ashbury Verified Member Posted April 4, 2021 Posted April 4, 2021 I think I saw a definition of that in the early 90s on Usenet, but I forget what it was.One of the alt.* groups, not rec or soc.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted April 4, 2021 Posted April 4, 2021 You young whipper snapper. I had to google urban dictionary. Luckily I didn't have to AOL 'google', so now I feel young again.
Sielk Verified Member Posted April 4, 2021 Posted April 4, 2021 Sanó's AB wasn't that bad. He didn't chase and would have drawn an RBI walk if the ump hadn't gifted Milwaukee an extra strike.
ashbury Verified Member Posted April 4, 2021 Posted April 4, 2021 You young whipper snapper. I had to google urban dictionary.I asked the nice lady what it meant to "google" something. She slapped me and confiscated my library card.
ashbury Verified Member Posted April 4, 2021 Posted April 4, 2021 gifted MilwaukeeThis is one of those similes or anachronisms or oxycleans, isn't it?
MNT1996 Verified Member Posted April 4, 2021 Posted April 4, 2021 After listening to these hecklers in the background for a couple minutes I'm starting to miss the artificial crowds we had last year
LaBombo Verified Member Posted April 4, 2021 Posted April 4, 2021 Sanó's AB wasn't that bad. He didn't chase and would have drawn an RBI walk if the ump hadn't gifted Milwaukee an extra strike. Also avoided a groin strain.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted April 4, 2021 Author Posted April 4, 2021 I asked the nice lady what it meant to "google" something. She slapped me and confiscated my library card. Doesn't strike me as being nice... Is that some obscure definition of "Minnesota Nice"?
IndianaTwin Verified Member Posted April 4, 2021 Posted April 4, 2021 Discussion of Ohtani pitching and hitting. My understanding is Morneau’s, which is that if Ohtani bats on a day he pitches, they have foregone the DH. If that’s indeed the case, it seems a dumb idea to have him hit, since they’ll shoot their bench if he gets pulled early.
TFRazor Verified Member Posted April 4, 2021 Posted April 4, 2021 I don’t mind him trying to get to 3rd there
ScrapTheNickname Provisional Member Posted April 4, 2021 Posted April 4, 2021 Damn Bluto Baldelli and his 3rd inning stupid challenge. Ri-fing-diculous.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted April 4, 2021 Posted April 4, 2021 My hope for the Twins' bullpen is that later in the season I'll be less excited about a 4th insurance run that I am right now.

MVP Nick Punto Verified Member Posted April 4, 2021 Posted April 4, 2021 Doesn't strike me as being nice... Is that some obscure definition of "Minnesota Nice"?He probably has a punishment kink; thus the slap and card revocation were actually nice.
TFRazor Verified Member Posted April 4, 2021 Posted April 4, 2021 Damn Bluto Baldelli and his 3rd inning stupid challenge. Ri-fing-diculous.Eh, I’d rather him take it and the umps tell him he’s wrong, than him not take a shot in fear that they’ll tell him he’s wrong
ashbury Verified Member Posted April 4, 2021 Posted April 4, 2021 After listening to these hecklers in the background for a couple minutes I'm starting to miss the artificial crowds we had last yearIf baseball had begun in Milwaukee, it would have remained a regional game.

IndianaTwin Verified Member Posted April 4, 2021 Posted April 4, 2021 I’ve liked Andrelton since he played for Atlanta. I think I’m going to start liking him even more!
