stringer bell Verified Member Posted September 27, 2020 Posted September 27, 2020 Polanco isn't quite as big a concern as Sanó and Gaver, but he is way off from last year.
Nine of twelve Verified Member Posted September 27, 2020 Posted September 27, 2020 He beat the shift out of that ball.

LVTwinsfan Verified Member Posted September 27, 2020 Posted September 27, 2020 Hard to score on a wild pitch at Target Field
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted September 27, 2020 Author Posted September 27, 2020 Gonzalez comes in on the wild pitch! More insurance runs, please!
IndianaTwin Verified Member Posted September 27, 2020 Posted September 27, 2020 I can't stand to listen to him doing Yankee games. I'm sure his smarminess is loved by their fans but I just can't. That said, I was flipping channels on my Sirius XM one morning and happened upon his stint as a guest announcer on the Frank Sinatra channel. And I realized listening to him that he really has the pipes for radio. For doing Frank Sinatra, sure, but not baseball. I hope he doesn't say stupid stuff like "A sonata by Sinatra." Or "Hey, you guys. It's Old Blue Eyes."
stringer bell Verified Member Posted September 27, 2020 Posted September 27, 2020 We haven't seen many games like this. Doubles, advances, RISP hitting.
Nine of twelve Verified Member Posted September 27, 2020 Posted September 27, 2020 Let's also hope that the lineup can get some insurance runs so that any pitching lapses are not punished immediately.Good call!
MNT1996 Verified Member Posted September 27, 2020 Posted September 27, 2020 Do the Twins win the tie breaker with the A's? Because if the A's have the tie breaker and the Twins win the Central tonight I think that the Twins should try to lose on purpose tomorrow in hopes of getting the 3rd seed. I'd rather face the Astros than the White Sox or Indians.

LVTwinsfan Verified Member Posted September 27, 2020 Posted September 27, 2020 Lesters having a meltdown, walked in a run, Cubs 5-4
IndianaTwin Verified Member Posted September 27, 2020 Posted September 27, 2020 Yay, Osuna, Reynolds, and Moran. Pirates 8-0.

FlauerPauer Verified Member Posted September 27, 2020 Posted September 27, 2020 Boys lookin good tonight. Would have liked to see Pineda a little more efficient before the playoffs, but still not terrible. Getting to Castillo is a good sign. Bring on the Astros!
Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted September 27, 2020 Posted September 27, 2020 Very good, this is just the kick in the pants the offense needed. 7 doubles! Forget bombas, doubles are all the rage now! The Cubs still have 4 more innings to rally. Go Cubs!
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted September 27, 2020 Author Posted September 27, 2020 Sorry i haven't been following up on my half hearted theme with more horror movie music...
