Damn... That's a far more impressive call than the Sano call. You're never really going out on much of a limb by calling a Sano HR in any given at-bat.

Disagree. Bremer said that Sanó was going to homer on that at-bat and he said it three times, while he just said that Rooker would homer "soon". Soon turned out to be the next pitch.

Ah, well I admit that I didn't actually hear the Rooker call. I was just thinking in terms of the probability of each guy hitting a homer in a given at-bat.

Mrs Chief has been getting tired of my, uh....sense of humor. Just this morning, she looked at me and said "I'm sick of the dad jokes. Just stop."

 

"How can I?" I asked.

 

"Any means necessary."

 

"Nope," I said. "It does not."

Even though I am not bilingual, I always make it a point to work the word 'mucho' into the conversation with a Spanish-speaker. It means a lot to them.

Mrs Chief's birthday is coming up. Don't tell her, but I got her one of them fancy new refrigerators.

It feels like the Twins have played their best against the Cardinals this year... which is odd, since they're a pretty good team.

Theyre in second place, right at .500, in a very week division, far from pretty good imo
