I've heard a lot of whining about the players being confined to their hotels during road trips. But think about the umpires. They, presumably, have the same restrictions ... and they have no home games at all.

No home games, no eyesight, no hobbies, no respect,...

Agree, of course. Was thinking of how infuriated he made the Royals last week with the fist pump. A little payback for how aggravating the Royals have been this year.

The L/R in question was on a team with a player who wore his helmet in the field. L/R guy commented that he had a teammate a few years earlier who did the same thing. Helmet guy said, "Yeah. That was me."
