I went to a karaoke bar yesterday. It was 70s night but they didn't provide any lyrics, it was all by memory. At first I was afraid. I was petrified. But I survived.

Happy Birthday! As someone who is closer to 60 than 50, do not fear. 50s are great, especially as those pesky college children become adults. Seeing them eye-to-eye as adults is one of the great joys in life. It technically may not be a cocktail, but I will raise a glass to you tomorrow.

speaking of karaoke, Duets is an excellent movie if you’ve never seen it, if you have I’d say it’s worth seeing again

Twins win! An all around great game led by the offense opening the door early and then finally adding on to put this one into the 'no doubt' category after just a few innings. Great way to finish out an underwhelming road trip.
