Other baseball news: "The Toronto Blue Jays are expected to play a majority of their home games at PNC Park in Pittsburgh this season, sources confirmed to ESPN, after federal officials in Canada refused to let the team host games at the Rogers Centre."

Actually, Pennsylvania nixed that today. Sounds like Baltimore and playing as the home team in road parks are the next options in line.

Hopefully a lot, but honestly I kind of doubt it.

Is Buffalo really that bad?  Their clubhouse must be awful.

 

I was wondering about Rochester too as an option for those guys...doesn't sound like it would be any better than Buff I guess, especially since that's their own AAA affiliate.

They technically have until Wednesday, since they start with five games on the road. 

 

A real plus with Pittsburgh is that their schedules only had seven home dates that overlapped, and two of those were getaway days.

I do wonder this, didn't seem like we saw much of the splitter, and saw a lot of trying to work the fastball up. I'll take it as a grain of salt personally.

The three concerns I heard were that the training facilities aren't up to par, the lights aren't good MLB quality, and the field dimensions are small, both in terms of outfield distance and small foul territory, making pitchers fear it as being too hitter-happy.
