FlauerPauer Verified Member Posted September 26, 2019 Posted September 26, 2019 So, back at the beginning of the season, who had “98 wins, verge of clinching the division with four days to spare, 299 home runs” in the pool? I was optimistic, but didn't think 90+ wins. I thought they'd be competitive with 2020 being the year.
insagt1 Verified Member Posted September 26, 2019 Posted September 26, 2019 I hope Twins beat the Yanks to 300 HR's!

Blake Verified Member Posted September 26, 2019 Posted September 26, 2019 Sox are putting the HURT on Cleveland. Figure HURT deserves to be capitalized because the Sox may very well end any and all post season hopes for Cleveland.
FlauerPauer Verified Member Posted September 26, 2019 Posted September 26, 2019 Got the champagne at the ready! Sorry neighbors!
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted September 26, 2019 Posted September 26, 2019 Let's Go, Go, Go White Sox ...

AlwaysinModeration Verified Member Posted September 26, 2019 Posted September 26, 2019 This is a helluva birthday present shaping up for Rocco.
70charger Verified Member Posted September 26, 2019 Posted September 26, 2019 Nobody will ever believe me because I didn't post in the preseason, but I knew that the Twins would way overperform. That said, I guessed 90 wins. So. Edit: and the first wild card. Wrong on both counts.
Blake Verified Member Posted September 26, 2019 Posted September 26, 2019 Herrera still bringing the heat!

twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted September 26, 2019 Posted September 26, 2019 I'm not cheering for the Sox, I'm cheering against the Indians. There's a difference.
70charger Verified Member Posted September 26, 2019 Posted September 26, 2019 "Don't forget to tune in tomorrow when Civale tries to end the season." Yeah, okay.
Richie the Rally Goat Community Moderator Posted September 26, 2019 Posted September 26, 2019 Ha, “the white Sox LOVE to make pitching changes”
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted September 26, 2019 Posted September 26, 2019 lol ... the radio guy for Cleveland said ...'And we're going to have a pitching change with 1 out in the 9th inning. .... why? ... Because the White Sox love to make pitching changes.' Said in the most non-emotional, robotic, matter of fact voice imaginable.
BD57 Verified Member Posted September 26, 2019 Posted September 26, 2019 New pitcher for the White Sox ... So they're going all out to get this done.
insagt1 Verified Member Posted September 26, 2019 Posted September 26, 2019 2 outs to get...new pitcher for Sox
Blake Verified Member Posted September 26, 2019 Posted September 26, 2019 Just remember, the Sox team we're pulling for is beating on Cleveland in a convincing fashion by playing their youngsters.
Blake Verified Member Posted September 26, 2019 Posted September 26, 2019 I'm not cheering for the Sox, I'm cheering against the Indians. There's a difference. Suuuuure there is....
FlauerPauer Verified Member Posted September 26, 2019 Posted September 26, 2019 Just remember, the Sox team we're pulling for is beating on Cleveland in a convincing fashion by playing their youngsters. WE'll worry about that next year.
AlwaysinModeration Verified Member Posted September 26, 2019 Posted September 26, 2019 FlauerPauer, in answer to your question, I vote no on signing Abreu.

Blake Verified Member Posted September 26, 2019 Posted September 26, 2019 WE'll worry about that next year.Yeah, that being my point. Twins need to take advantage this year.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted September 26, 2019 Posted September 26, 2019 Do I go out on my balcony and scream if the Sox win?
