MNT1996 Verified Member Posted September 1, 2019 Posted September 1, 2019 Not a clean game tonight. Bad pitching, bad defense, way too many strikeouts.
Nine of twelve Verified Member Posted September 1, 2019 Posted September 1, 2019 Did Bert just really say "Up yours"? It's time to retire.
wabene Verified Member Posted September 1, 2019 Posted September 1, 2019 Six homers in a game , and they lose, makes the record somewhat ironicA division championship is relevant in my book.
wabene Verified Member Posted September 1, 2019 Posted September 1, 2019 May pitched well again but next time he should probably zip up his pants.. Hilarious
yarnivek1972 Verified Member Posted September 1, 2019 Posted September 1, 2019 Today’s game was lost because Falvine chose not to send Dobnak down after his extended outing Thursday. As a result, the Twins had to use most of their top relievers yesterday in a game that was in the bag after the 4th. As a result, Perez was kept in longer than he should have been today because there were no rested relievers. Not impressed with Falvine at all. Their mistakes continue to cost this team games. None of the trades they made to shed payroll have moved the needle. Developing pitchers continues to be a problem. These are the kinds of things that these guys were supposed to be better at than Terry Ryan.
jz7233 Provisional Member Posted September 1, 2019 Posted September 1, 2019 Still not sure how to feel about p.h. for Schoop[, better hitter = yes tying run - schoop ????It was the right move. It just didn't work out. Arraez should be a bit more careful with those borderline calls. Arraez is a better hitter with runners in scoring position and he is a LH hitter.
ScrapTheNickname Provisional Member Posted September 1, 2019 Posted September 1, 2019 I did laugh out loud.

jz7233 Provisional Member Posted September 1, 2019 Posted September 1, 2019 But i wanna win now!!!I don't expect a win if my team gives up seven runs in one inning.
