Catching up after the game. How was Gonzalez at short? Is Rocco going to get heat when he doesn't have a lefty available to pitch tomorrow and maybe Sunday?

I feel the need to point out the home team is undefeated in games this particular poster has game thread started.

Oh.

You mean Twins are the Home team of Twins Daily where they have never lost a game where USAFChief has started the corresponding game discussion thread.

I assume this is merely a coincidence. Neither is Chief volunteering to write the rest of the game thread intro's, or should we blame him if he doesn't and coorespondantly the Twins occasionally lose. Use this wisely...

I look forward reading your game 7 game thread intro after an unblemished season, judiciously taking games that matter.

I, on the other hand, have the battle scars of defeat, but a short memory.

Acceptable. He slings it sidearm almost more than Polanco and there doesn’t seem like there is much on it but he made the plays

Yeah, so you just mean that, like, when you start the thing that it’s awesome right? .

I hear that a lot.

I was first able to check in I think at the very moment Jose gave up his first runs, since I watched the score tick from 1-0 to 1-2 immediately after I clicked the gamecast. I was very worried when Jose gave up 3 in 3, but was very encouraged to see he blanked them for his remaining 3.67, and by the way we were able to win it in the 9th on the road. Go Twins, beat the Devil Rays!

There sure were a lot of chicken littles out during the game thread. Great come from behind victory on the road against a good team and a good bullpen. And doing it while losing a surefire home run to ballpark “quirks” (and bad homeplate umpiring too) to boot.

Now, on to the business at hand—win game two of the series!

On the topic of the opening photo, I got the privilege of watching the USAF Thunderbirds perform in Duluth last year. It was conclusively breathtaking. They are absolute rock stars, and I'd recommend everyone put it on their bucket list.

My daughter is in radio and was able to fly with one of those groups on a promo flight. Blue Angels? It was in Oregon, and the pilot took her over Crater Lake, she said it was awesome. They made videos from the cockpit, and of all the rolls and loops and screams.
