NorthwestTwinsFan Provisional Member Posted May 12, 2019 Posted May 12, 2019 Twins should look into creating a position for a bullpen management specialist, because that's the one thing Rocco seems to really struggle with.
NorthwestTwinsFan Provisional Member Posted May 12, 2019 Posted May 12, 2019 Hildenberger's stat line since the all-star break last year does not lie. This is ridiculous. And Beamer just says he pitched well in the second half of last year...... Not paying attention. He's not good enough to pitch in the Majors.
MMMordabito Verified Member Posted May 12, 2019 Posted May 12, 2019 Hmmm ... Have to put up with this $* for at least 10 days before Romero or Duffy can come back.
stringer bell Verified Member Posted May 12, 2019 Posted May 12, 2019 I may be wrong, but I think the league has figured out Hildenberger. I thought MLB had figured out Pat Neshek years ago and he's carved out a really good career.

It might make sense for him to go back to the minors and see if he can find himself.
tarheeltwinsfan Verified Member Posted May 12, 2019 Posted May 12, 2019 Hildy reminds me of the little girl who had a little curl, right in the middle of her forehead. When she was good, she was very, very good, and when she was bad she was horrid.rid.
ScrapTheNickname Provisional Member Posted May 12, 2019 Posted May 12, 2019 Who NEEDS to win when you have a five game lead? Dare I say there will be/are moments of apathy? And now God Bless America, so I will promptly turn off the volume.
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted May 12, 2019 Posted May 12, 2019 What was odd about the timing? He took one day, and it fell on a doubleheader day he wasn’t scheduled to pitch. And seems like most guys take the full three days.

stringer bell Verified Member Posted May 12, 2019 Posted May 12, 2019 Today's game might quell the conversation about playoffs and clinching the division by Labor Day. The entire series shows that any major league team can play for a couple days with any other one. The Twins have mostly been playing very well and had ridiculously good starting pitching. I believe they are a good team right now and the favorite to win the Central, but they have some weak spots (starting pitching depth and bullpen). If they lose today, it won't be the first disappointing game and I doubt it will be the last.

It is inevitable that some of the guys playing over their heads will level off a bit. Just hate to see them lose more than a game to a far inferior team (I guess 2 out of 5 ain’t bad)
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2019 Posted May 12, 2019 Diaz would hold a lightning bolt at third...... How big are the Hildenberger runs given up now?
wabene Verified Member Posted May 12, 2019 Posted May 12, 2019 Polanco is just going to have to work it
MMMordabito Verified Member Posted May 12, 2019 Posted May 12, 2019 Hildenberger decision looking really bad now.
wabene Verified Member Posted May 12, 2019 Posted May 12, 2019 The nerds were all up in Cruz's grill yo
stringer bell Verified Member Posted May 12, 2019 Posted May 12, 2019 Wow, bat for Cruz and then hit for Eddie?
ScrapTheNickname Provisional Member Posted May 12, 2019 Posted May 12, 2019 That was ALMOST like an interception followed by a fumble on the kickoff followed by a touchdown pass.
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2019 Posted May 12, 2019 Time to be a hero Marwin. Turtle man couldn't do it... can you?
