Possible Rain-Out Tonight

I hope we don't handle it like Baltimore did a week and a half ago and postpone the game hours before it starts, only to see barely any rain at the scheduled gametime...

Yeah, I think the rain will be through by game time. If not, probably just a delay and not a postponement. I hope I'm right.

Should be fine in terms of the rain and the grounds, but it will be cold tonight, likely the coldest game of the year, barring a late playoff run.

Didn’t they already play a game with temps in the upper 30s?

If there is a postponement tonight, I would really hope that they do a traditional DH tomorrow. I'm coming to the game tomorrow, but my flight doesn't get in until 12:40 PM, so I'd probably miss/be late to a 12:10/1:10 start time. Problem is, tomorrow's game is on ESPN, not local TV, which makes the traditional DH pretty much a no-go.

But anyway, if it's just a light shower, they'll play through it. I was at the cold, rainy game in Philadelphia a few weeks ago; still surprised they got that game off on-time and uninterrupted. I was at a game in Pittsburgh last year where it rained the entire time and the game never stopped.

Sure hope they get this one in. I feel for the fans with tickets, but the rest of us watching at home snuggled next to our space heaters need Twins baseball.

Looks like Adrianza's getting the start at 3rd tonight. Cron and Cruz both in, Gonzales out. Per Twins Twitter.

Taking my son tonight, trying to get him more interested in Twins baseball...

This weather isn't helping.
