MMMordabito Verified Member Posted April 28, 2019 Posted April 28, 2019 Good game for Gibby to start the post-E.coli phase of his career
ashbury Verified Member Posted April 28, 2019 Posted April 28, 2019 Kyle Gibson was charged with a fielding error in 2015. Now this. It's starting to be a pattern.
ashbury Verified Member Posted April 28, 2019 Posted April 28, 2019 Good game for Gibby to start the post-E.coli phase of his careerOn pace for a second straight good game, he has started a fresh streak.
ashbury Verified Member Posted April 28, 2019 Posted April 28, 2019 Kepler has an extreme "don't over-grip the bat" grip, with those fingers always splayed out like he does.
Mill1634 Verified Member Posted April 28, 2019 Posted April 28, 2019 I'm going to be sad that we are done playing the O's, because you have about an 85% chance of winning, but I won't be sad because these games are BORING.
Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted April 28, 2019 Posted April 28, 2019 It's good to see Gibby get deep into a game like this. Hopefully he's starting to get his groove back.
ashbury Verified Member Posted April 28, 2019 Posted April 28, 2019 Chris Davis is by this point just a one-tool player, but as tools go, HR power is one of the better ones. / PS, Morneausie jinxed Kyle with his comment about 4-0 being a comfortable lead against some teams but not others.
yarnivek1972 Verified Member Posted April 28, 2019 Posted April 28, 2019 I know the Twins have had some rough patches. 1993-2000 comes to mind and since 2010 they have been mediocre to terrible. But, Baltimore, my goodness. There was a 5 year stretch that ended in 2016 where they won an average of 90 games. Other than that, going back to 2000 they have won more than 75 games ONCE. FIVE 95 loss seasons. That kind of futility is hard to maintain.

adorduan Verified Member Posted April 28, 2019 Posted April 28, 2019 It is the O's, but real nice start for Gibby. If he can be as good as last year from here on out, the starting pitching could be pretty decent.
drock2190 Verified Member Posted April 28, 2019 Posted April 28, 2019 Castro really getting brownie points with that "Hi Mom" necklace
ashbury Verified Member Posted April 28, 2019 Posted April 28, 2019 Miguel Castro wears a necklace that says "hi mom". Witty rejoinder contest.... go. / ninja'd by drock, but I'd still like to encourage some good responses.
drock2190 Verified Member Posted April 28, 2019 Posted April 28, 2019 You think Marwin is talking hitting with Davis on 1st base?
ashbury Verified Member Posted April 28, 2019 Posted April 28, 2019 You think Marwin is talking hitting with Davis on 1st base?"So, Chris, tell me, did Miguel Castro lose a bet, or what?"
Mill1634 Verified Member Posted April 28, 2019 Posted April 28, 2019 Twins win!!!! Fantastic weekend of baseball, and now we get to welcome Houston back. Will be interesting to see how things fair against the Astros at home, I'm hoping for 2-2. Lets keep the bats rolling!
