It's good to see Gibby get deep into a game like this. Hopefully he's starting to get his groove back.

Chris Davis is by this point just a one-tool player, but as tools go, HR power is one of the better ones.

I know the Twins have had some rough patches. 1993-2000 comes to mind and since 2010 they have been mediocre to terrible.

 

But, Baltimore, my goodness. There was a 5 year stretch that ended in 2016 where they won an average of 90 games. Other than that, going back to 2000 they have won more than 75 games ONCE. FIVE 95 loss seasons.

 

That kind of futility is hard to maintain.

Fantastic weekend of baseball, and now we get to welcome Houston back. Will be interesting to see how things fair against the Astros at home, I'm hoping for 2-2.
