bighat Verified Member Posted April 6, 2019 Posted April 6, 2019 That was strike 3 to McCutcheon there. Umps seem to be drinking the MLB public relations kool-aid in regards to the Phillies here.
Don Walcott Verified Member Posted April 6, 2019 Posted April 6, 2019 Wish they’d show the K-zone. It did look like Pineda was getting squeezed.
bighat Verified Member Posted April 6, 2019 Posted April 6, 2019 Cron should be on 3rd base with a tag there.
Heinie Manush Verified Member Posted April 6, 2019 Posted April 6, 2019 CJ base running blunder. Hope it doesn't hurt us.
ashbury Verified Member Posted April 6, 2019 Posted April 6, 2019 Tuned in just in time for Hoskins's home run. Tuning out, to save our pitching staff.
mrtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2019 Posted April 6, 2019 First time Penada batted. looked like a slimmed down Sano, Big Man
ScooterDance Provisional Member Posted April 6, 2019 Posted April 6, 2019 Twins sure seem to be tagging the ball in PHI. Only 7 runs so far in 14 innings despite a lot of barreling up.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted April 6, 2019 Posted April 6, 2019 When Berrios doesn't want to come out of the game, he's competitive. When the gynormous Pineda doesn't want to come out, he's terrifying... ... is sort of what I got out of the FSN commentary, anyway.
VATwinsFan Verified Member Posted April 6, 2019 Posted April 6, 2019 This is working out just marvelously.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted April 6, 2019 Posted April 6, 2019 This is working out just marvelously. No worries. Baldelli wisely maneuvering Falvine into a position where they'll be forced to go out and find another reliever before the ASB.
Don Walcott Verified Member Posted April 6, 2019 Posted April 6, 2019 Wow!! Great play by Buxton and Tortuga!!
MMMordabito Verified Member Posted April 6, 2019 Posted April 6, 2019 Love the Tortuga Roll on that double play!!!
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2019 Posted April 6, 2019 Some would say it would just be a hail mary for Buxton to throw a speedy runner like Harper out at the plate.
Don Walcott Verified Member Posted April 6, 2019 Posted April 6, 2019 Love the Tortuga Roll on that double play!!!He came right out of his shell!
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2019 Posted April 6, 2019 Another inherited runner scored. That's not how you spell relief.
Don Walcott Verified Member Posted April 6, 2019 Posted April 6, 2019 Now let’s see some Tortuga Power!!
MMMordabito Verified Member Posted April 6, 2019 Posted April 6, 2019 Note to Baldelli: If you want to keep getting that from Hildy, don't burn him out. He shouldn't be available tomorrow.
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2019 Posted April 6, 2019 Hildy took care of business. THAT's how you spell relief!
LaBombo Verified Member Posted April 6, 2019 Posted April 6, 2019 He came right out of his shell! And, as a bonus, he did not see his shadow, so no Tax Day blizzard this year.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted April 6, 2019 Posted April 6, 2019 Note to Baldelli: If you want to keep getting that from Hildy, don't burn him out. He shouldn't be available tomorrow. As much any other one observable thing about Baldelli, reliever usage (and overuse) is pretty close to the top of my list of things I hope he gets right.
ashbury Verified Member Posted April 6, 2019 Posted April 6, 2019 I haven't seen a play like Adrianza's, on a slow roller to third, since the days of Miguel Sano! Whatever happened to that guy, anyway? / yes, I'm back - hope I'm not jinxing anything, in this tight game
bighat Verified Member Posted April 6, 2019 Posted April 6, 2019 Some would say it would just be a hail mary for Buxton to throw a speedy runner like Harper out at the plate. Hey, I resemble that remark.

bighat Verified Member Posted April 6, 2019 Posted April 6, 2019 Geez how many strikes is this ump going to call a ball and swing it in the Phillies' favor?
MMMordabito Verified Member Posted April 6, 2019 Posted April 6, 2019 Hmm ... Ball to Hoskins, but strike to Garver ... Robo-umps please
