Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 26, 2018 Posted May 26, 2018 The only players hitting right now are Kepler, Rosario and Escobar. That DOES NOT WORK PERIOD! Scratch Escobar off that list. He is quite cold at the moment. On the list of players hitting right now. Adrianaza just might be number 3 on the list. Vanimal46 1

bluechipper Provisional Member Posted May 26, 2018 Posted May 26, 2018 Don't worry about the AAA yo-yo. Just send Buxton down until he's hitting again. That's fine if it's August. Whoever you run out there can't be any worse: just play decent defense and hit like .230. I'd think LaMarre could do that.If Buxton were to go down, I would rather go with Kepler in CF and then Wade in RF. I would think there's no way the Twins would go with Lamarre as their everyday CF. ashbury Verified Member Posted May 26, 2018 Posted May 26, 2018 These problems will be solved with some games against the Detroit Kittens, the Chicago Faded Socks, and the Kansas City Commoners. tarheeltwinsfan 1
OldTimeTwinkie Provisional Member Posted May 26, 2018 Posted May 26, 2018 Actually, it was pretty easy to figure: Buxton Minor League Slash:.302/.379/.504/(.883) Rosario MiLB Slash:.294/.340/.484/(.824) Kepler MiLB Slash.281/.363/.446/(.809)

I'm not interested in knowing whether Ehire Freaking Adrianza is second or third in some Slow Mule Race. This team is just Cold at bat right now. Riverbrian and drock2190 2

He’s a weak hitter, he’s not going to get much better, and no matter what his last 20 PAs were, his next 300 will be weak. KirbyDome89, ashbury and Vanimal46 3

Clearly there are options at AAA that could hit over .167 and give you adequate defense in CF.

Tom: Yes - Paxton is good, but the point is almost EVERY starting pitcher they run into is shutting them down. Leake did it again yesterday. Right now this team would be lucky to score on AAA pitching. With Mauer out and Buxton and Sano appearing lost at the plate, this team is going no where fast.
Kyle DeBarge Wichita Wind Surge - AA 2B/CF On Sunday, DeBarge went 3-for-3 with a walk and a double. It was his second multi-hit game in his past three games. Explore Kyle DeBarge News >
