Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted May 16, 2018 Posted May 16, 2018 And Joe just keeps swingingSixth in first base WAR.... He's not the best, but he's been good this year.
Blake Verified Member Posted May 16, 2018 Posted May 16, 2018 At this point, Lynn has been every bit as bad as Hughes.Lynn has a recent history of success over the last couple of years. Can't say the same for Hughes.

Blake Verified Member Posted May 16, 2018 Posted May 16, 2018 If it’s going to be mop up guy duty, might go with the guy who costs moreHughes barely throws 92 any more. Lynn can still bring it at 95 or so.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted May 16, 2018 Posted May 16, 2018 Hughes barely throws 92 any more. Lynn can still bring it at 95 or so.Bring it right out of the strike zone
Danchat Verified Member Posted May 16, 2018 Posted May 16, 2018 I just don't understand how Lynn is this bad. He was a solid starting pitcher last year, but now he's totally lost his command, his pitches are far easier to hit, yet he's forcing more strikeouts? I don't get it. I don't buy the "missed Spring Training" excuses.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted May 16, 2018 Posted May 16, 2018 Can someone start getting loose please? Enough already

Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted May 16, 2018 Posted May 16, 2018 Lynn working hard to disprove there is no such thing as a bad one year deal....I did not see him as this bad, no way Is Hughes up?

Edit: for some bizarre reason, it’s taylor Rogers getting loose. And he just started.

FunnyPenguin Provisional Member Posted May 16, 2018 Posted May 16, 2018 Ok please....let's be done with Lynn, we've already thrown away enough games with him starting, there comes a time to move on. Heck, even Colon would be fun to watch at this point.
Danchat Verified Member Posted May 16, 2018 Posted May 16, 2018 He’d better be up and ready.Edit: for some bizarre reason, it’s taylor Rogers getting loose. And he just started.Probably Rogers to get out of this inning, if Lynn can't. I imagine Hughes throws multiple innings in this one.
Danchat Verified Member Posted May 16, 2018 Posted May 16, 2018 I think they need to get Slegers up here and start in Lynn's stead. He's at best a #5 pitcher, but that's far better than what Lynn's been giving us.

Puckett34 Verified Member Posted May 16, 2018 Posted May 16, 2018 Hopefully Hughes comes out for the 3rd. I’m having a hard time holding down my lunchIs it because you wanted Hughes out there instead of Lynn that you're nauseated? Or because of Lynn's pitching ability/lack thereof. Both are very good possibilities.
ThejacKmp Provisional Member Posted May 16, 2018 Posted May 16, 2018 Lance Lynn has two to three weeks to step up before Santana comes back. As is, it's not a tough choice to see who goes. The tough choice is whether to try to trade him, release him or move him to the pen.
Mill1634 Verified Member Posted May 16, 2018 Author Posted May 16, 2018 Welp. Just got in from mowing. Looks like Lynn still can't throw the ball over the plate. How many more starts do we give him?

Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted May 16, 2018 Posted May 16, 2018 Man, Byron was RUNG on that 0-2 pitch
Mill1634 Verified Member Posted May 16, 2018 Author Posted May 16, 2018 Wow. Just bad? Or something more?
Mill1634 Verified Member Posted May 16, 2018 Author Posted May 16, 2018 LoMo, you have to get dirty there.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted May 16, 2018 Posted May 16, 2018 That was awful by Morrison. Luckily for him he didn’t get hurt
Loosey Verified Member Posted May 16, 2018 Posted May 16, 2018 Even though it's a fielders choice in the books, that is probably the best at bat I've seen Buxton take all year long. Laying off the break stuff out of the zone fouling off 2 strike pitches then laces a line drive into the pitcher's leg.
