Game Thread: Twins @ Tigers 8/13/2017 AD @ 12:10pm CDT

[Danchat]

Torii just called Rosario "Rosie." That seems on the mark right now, but there have been times when "Sorry" would be more appropriate.

I'm pretty sure Rosie is his nickname in the locker room, I've heard that one many times before.

[drock2190]

Why can't the Twins get that McCann guy out?

[Aggies7]

Brutal brutal inning

[Craig Arko]

And that's why Ervin is your ace.

[Circus Boy]

Brutal brutal inning

Only one run, though. That's professional brutal inning control.

[snepp]

Rosie giving the locker room a little discussion fodder for later.

[Aggies7]

Sano having a forgettable week

[notoriousgod71]

A hit?

The umpire very clearly motioned his arms that Sano came off the bag so there is no possible way that is a hit.

[Aggies7]

Time to get the ol' pen up for 5 more innings of work

[notoriousgod71]

They changed it to an error, thank God.

[PDX Twin]

Time to get the ol' pen up for 5 more innings of work

I can't "like" this, but I don't disagree...

[Aggies7]

So frustrating, the complete inability to pitch with a decent lead

[notoriousgod71]

This is exactly why at no point in this season will I ever think the Twins have a chance at the postseason. It is unfathomable to me that this pitching staff could possibly be involved in a playoff/playin game.

[notoriousgod71]

Our FA signings at catcher are not doing so swell.

[John Kelsey]

Nice catch, clubhouse guy.

But Garver's defense....

[Aggies7]

How do you not catch that, as a catcher?

[Aggies7]

So glad we decided to give up two outs to get one run back in the second inning. Who needed a big inning

[John Kelsey]

Gimenez should be gone after this game, get Garver up.

This is ridiculous.

[Aggies7]

Got a spring in that glove?

[notoriousgod71]

This is a Rob Bowen-like defensive performance from Gimenez this game.

[Riverbrian]

This is ridiculous.

I'd hate to make a decision based on a bad inning.

However... I can't disagree with this.

How can you get rid of your best relief pitcher?

[Aggies7]

Take him out!!!!

[Aggies7]

I'm speechless

[Aggies7]

I know the BP is horrific, but how can you leave Erv in there at this point

[notoriousgod71]

For ****'s sake.

[snepp]

Ok, that's enough for me. Book Garver's ticket now.

[notoriousgod71]

Take him out!!!!

Erv? Gimenez? Both?

[Aggies7]

Has a catcher ever been pulled mid inning? What the F is going on

[drock2190]

I remember my 1st time catching
