h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted July 15, 2017 Posted July 15, 2017 Maybe is Granite's name was Flint instead, we would be getting a spark instead of a fizzle with a wimpy arm. bighat 1
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted July 15, 2017 Posted July 15, 2017 (edited) Bases loaded, this time with 2 outs.Psst... Molitor. Ever call a triple steal? Far too adventurous for the stoic old man, especially since what do they have to lose!? Edited July 15, 2017 by h2oface

sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted July 15, 2017 Posted July 15, 2017 Alright, time to get more runners in scoring position!
Blake Verified Member Posted July 15, 2017 Posted July 15, 2017 Houston is living right. Only explanation.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted July 15, 2017 Posted July 15, 2017 (edited) 30 minutes or so ago I got into the car with my elementary-aged daughter and turned on the game. The radio broadcast was in a commercial break, but the station display crawl said TWINS - 4 ASTROS - 1. Then Provus came on sounding encouraged that the Twins had mounted a comeback, which made no sense, and then said that they trailed 10 - 4. Me: "Ten to four !?! The crawl said they were up four to one!" Kid: "No, after you looked outside it showed a zero after the one for the Astros. Our radio isn't big enough to show how bad they're getting beat." Me: "Why didn't you tell me when you saw it?" Kid: "You seemed pretty excited that they were ahead". Edited July 15, 2017 by LaBombo Blake, Platoon, snepp and 1 other 4

Blake Verified Member Posted July 15, 2017 Posted July 15, 2017 Awful game for Castro.Hard to really single out one person. I think Houston has gotten inside the heads of the Twins in general. LaBombo 1

LaBombo Verified Member Posted July 15, 2017 Posted July 15, 2017 So ... Our pitchers have thrown up 5 donuts... So will the guys who pitch for the Winnipeg Goldeyes, when they hit the bars after the game and then Tim Horton's drive thru on the way home. sampleSizeOfOne 1
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted July 15, 2017 Posted July 15, 2017 Now would be a good time to put up some runs. Bring it home with a bang.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted July 15, 2017 Posted July 15, 2017 12 pitch K for Belisle. That is sticking with it.

snepp Verified Member Posted July 15, 2017 Posted July 15, 2017 https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tsuyoshi_NishiokaExcept Yoshi had enough class to not ask for a buyout. Hughes will either stick around gritting shelled for two years or just fade away. But still get paid. Gil Meche walked away from $12 million.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted July 15, 2017 Posted July 15, 2017 (edited) So have we set Houston up with a false sense of confidence yet? Are they ripe for the plucking? Edited July 15, 2017 by sampleSizeOfOne
