Game Thread: Twins v Astros, May 31 @ 12:10pm CT

[yarnivek1972]

Chris Gimenez needed only 15 pitches to retire the Astros in the 9th.  Yeah, he gave up a bomb, but let's not dwell.

The only innings where Twins pitchers threw fewer pitches than that today were the 2nd (14), 5th (12) and 6th (11).

Let's go A's! I reaaaaaaaally want the Twins to finish May still in first place. Remember, momentum is only so far as tomorrow's starting pitcher. (Which is who, by the way?)

So, I missed a good one (again) today. Shame.

I thought it was funny. Evidently, I wasn't, however.

Wow, I'd like to know the color of the sk- ... uh, never mind.

Watch Alex Meyer pitch a complete game shutout tomorrow fresh off the DL. Zero walks

That's if he doesn't drill the 1st 9 guys, just for the hell of it.

Still in first, thanks to Oakland and percentage points....

Coulda been worse.
