All he needs to do is throw shutout ball for nine innings. Unless the Twins happen to not score any runs either, then he may need to put on his big-boy pants and go a few more frames.

Holy bleep... I thought this was a typo on B-Ref.

 

Mike Fiers has given up 18 (!!) HRs already in 46.2 IP.

I had figured it was a product of Minute Maid Field. In actuality, he's been even worse of a gopher-baller on the road. If he gets 30 odd starts, Bert's record could be in jeopardy.

 

Anyone got the over/under as to how many times that is mentioned during the broadcast tonight?

But good to see Buxton in after the incident yesterday. I hope he can throw.

 

This actually annoys me even more. His coming out of the game basically cost us the game (in addition to the bullpen) as there were two plays that could/should have been made after he came out.
