I don't expect him to be lights out every night, but it's good to see him work through that inning and minimizing the damage.

Okay, so here's my issue with the unwritten rules.  It's okay for Berrios to react the way he did when he struck that guy out.  If the guy had jacked a HR and reacted with obvious joy, he's showing up the pitcher.

Curve is on point but locating the fastball has caused problems.  Berrios just gotta stay calm and not overthrow.

I will never understand the tradition of giving up a run for an extra out. I know all the arguments. But a run for an out, especially that gives up the lead, ties the game, or lets the other team go ahead, is a run you can't assume you will get back, no matter what point of the game it is.

For all of the (deserved) criticism of Molitor past few days, I have to admit that the team is focused and in the game today. This had the potential to be the complete disaster blowout at least we're competitive. I was concerned that the team would go on the tank but it hasn't happened yet.

That's how they looked early yesterday too though.
