Archer is a really good pitcher. Not too many better in the game right now.

He throws his slider harder than anyone in the Twins' rotation throws a fastball.

This ball of twine is unraveling...

74 pitches already. Not liking the sound of that at all.

1st inning -- couldn't touch him

2nd inning -- touched him, hit it to people

3rd inning -- touched him, hit it to people, they fumbled with it and we got a guy on base

5th inning -- hit it where they ain't...floodgates open

Fixed.

Gophers have erased a 6 run deficit late and now lead by a run in the 9th. BUT there are two on and nobody out for Indiana. Elimination game.

We gonna get no hit tonight?

Edit: had no clue they ruled castro's grounder a hit

Bad hop grounders apparently are hits nowadays.  Wish I had these official scorers when I played 2nd base.

I think they always have been. That one hit the mound and had lots of top spin, tough play.

I still think we can come back.

Games are 9 innings for a reason.

What reason is that? Why not 10? 7?

Good call to pull Santiago. He didn't have much, lucky to get away with only two runs.

Any reason for worry with him? His last three starts have been very lackluster.

I think he's just who regressing to who he is. I'm not sure "worry" is really the right word.

Why does this team stink so badly at home? For petes sake, they are so unenthusiastic at target field. Sleepwalking.

Three runs now. Pressly might be worse.

Great to see we're getting bad Pressly tonite.

I propose that when we get bad Pressly, we call it a Fat Elvis outing.

I see what's keeping Pressley's fastballs straight. He strides on a straight line towards home and throws straight overhand. To create movement, he needs to stride to the right of his target, then swing his hip around, causing natural cutter motion. Then his four seamer would slide left. Combine that with a two seamer that bends right, and he could dominate. Guaranteed! ;-)

It really is astounding and confusing as to why the twins are so "low energy" at home. Even Dick in the booth is not nearly his usual self.
