Game Thread: Twins @ White Sox, 5/11/17 - 7:10pm CT

[USAFChief]

Mrs Chief asked me last weekend, before we left for Easter services, what I though of her makeup.  I told her she had drawn her eyebrows too high.

She looked surprised.

Easter was almost a month ago. Cmon

That's a strike, Jerry.

Your wife is kind of the Vera or Maris of Twins Daily.

[drock2190]

I bet these Sox can't get 10 runs in one inning

No wonder she looked surprised.

Are those TC stirrups belisle has on?!

[Riverbrian]

I wonder if Belisle knows that he doesn't have to wear a glove made in the 1920's.

[drock2190]

A one run lead is like tip toeing around hot lava with this bullpen

[Aggies7]

Kintzler struggles getting three outs. And we want 5

[USAFChief]

Are those TC stirrups belisle has on?!

Which ones...the ones around his neck?

[mikecgrimes]

Would that count as a caught stealing if he overslid the base

[John Kelsey]

That was Anderson's 4th BB in 122 at-bats.

Belisle is defying the odds!

Okay, that's another button we need, a "sigh" button.

[Guest]

The difference between Belisle and Tonkin seems to be the slower pace of implosion.

Are those TC stirrups belisle has on?!

I think he's trying to channel former Twin BP greats like Ray Corbin, or Dan Fife...

[Blake]

Pressly, so far tonight, is the lone bright spot of the pen.

Uggh.

Well, Kintz is in now.  Lights out, Chicago.

[glunn]

Belisle gives me a stomach ache whenever he comes in.

Now lets get two here.

[David HK]

Heh... looking at the Game Day--  Narvaez has one little red box in his K zone-  and where does the pitch go?

Heh...

I suppose Cheers and Fraiser references are a little dated -- although that is usually not a problem with these threads.

[USAFChief]

Call me a skeptic if you must, but I'm starting to have my doubts that Belisle is the shut down 8th inning guy we all assumed he was.

[Aggies7]

Yep

"Vera."

Gotcha.

My bad.

Frazier references I'll never get.

Nothing like walking Tim "Mendoza" Anderson with a man on (via walk) in the 8th.

[mikecgrimes]

This would be a bad time for a double play ball can we get Besile back in

[mikecgrimes]

Never play the infield in

[David HK]

Downright comical if we p*ss away this one.

Downright tragic if we p*ss away this one to the White Sox.

[USAFChief]

Never play the infield in

with the tying run on third, one out in the 8th?

ALWAYS play the infield in.
