Nick Nelson Site Manager Posted November 7, 2016 Posted November 7, 2016 Now that the Offseason Handbook has been out for a few days and everyone has (hopefully!) had a chance to soak up the information within, it's time to put out our annual call for user-submitted blueprints. Here's how it works: peruse the payroll breakdowns, free agent listings, arbitration cases and trade suggestions within the Handbook (or do some of your own research outside of what the ebook contains). Then, put together your plan for approaching this offseason. There are no strict guidelines for how you present your information but ideally every submission should include: 1) a listing of signings, trade and acquisitions, with specific details and explanations, 2) a glance at what your 25-man roster looks like on Opening Day next year, and what the payroll adds up to. These blueprints should generate great discussion and we may feature a few of them in upcoming offseason posts, so keep your eyes peeled. (By the way, if you haven't gotten your copy of the Offseason Handbook, you can download yours here on a name-your-price basis!)
Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted November 7, 2016 Posted November 7, 2016 Will there be a new category created on the forums page? Or are we going to reuse the 2016 GM Blueprint category for us to post our plans?
Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted November 7, 2016 Posted November 7, 2016 We're going to try posting blueprints in the Twins forum this year. This forum gets far and away the most traffic so the hope is that peoples' blueprints will get more eyeballs and comments this way.
Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted November 7, 2016 Posted November 7, 2016 Since we're doing that, could I have one of the Mods delete my plan from the 2016 GM category?
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted November 7, 2016 Posted November 7, 2016 Since we're doing that, could I have one of the Mods delete my plan from the 2016 GM category? I moved it to here ... did you want it deleted?
Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted November 8, 2016 Posted November 8, 2016 Compromise. Move it, then delete it.

USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted November 10, 2016 Posted November 10, 2016 Just wanted to say thanks to those who have put the time and effort into posting these. You know who you are, and each of you help make this place pretty neat.
