The bars all along Clark St in Wrigleyville were charging a $60/person cover charge last night. I guess since they don't get to capitalize on the Cubs in the WS too often, they really had to make it worth their while.

I guess Epstein doesn't really deserve much credit since his teams have had money.  No good drafting, no quality trades, no timely trades, whole team completely built by only spending loads of money.

Is this in response to anything said in this thread? Mentioning using large sums of money wisely in no way means the things you say are meant.

Whether the Cubs or Cleveland win the WS, I think it is a good thing... a great thing. For me personally, in my 30 years of being a baseball fan, I have never been this disinterested in baseball and this is a very exciting match up!

 

I think the Twins finally killed my baseball soul or exiled it into another dimension.
