1) Rabbit season?

Them rascally varmints tend to get everywhere and eat everything. And around my wanderings, they don't much bother to keep out of sight. Bold as brass.

 

2) Baseball season?

Not much more happening. Glancing at the standings, some games might mean something. But i've been here before. pretty much a foregone conclusion, that someone in the New England area will think up a fancy slogan, and the Red Sox will bring another championship back to New England... But there have got to be smaller reasons to care. What are yours?

 

3) Football season?

Minnesota pro and college teams are both undefeated. Whoop didoo. I will let you fill in the foregone conclusions, You probably got all the fine details i haven't noticed, not being around all that much.

 

4) Duck season?

Not that i have anything against ducks. I here you get down off a duck's back. They should have a season.

 

5) Fall?

You might not have noticed, but in northern latitudes, days are now shorter than nights. I think day light savings time is just there to drive it home. Like a designated driver. One should not put with a driver...

 

Well, whatever it is, there will be a baseball game played at Target Field, so i hear.

Trying to make up my mind if I want Grossman on the team next year.  Pretty good OBP - horrible defense.   Would make a good part-time DH and PH but we seem to have plenty of those.
