I don't understand how someone can just abandon an animal. My dog was found as an abandoned animal when she was 2. Sweet dog and for her young age at the time, pretty mellow and low maintenance, but someone decided they did not want her or could not handle her and did not even bother to bring her to a shelter.

Souless animals.Found one for adoption. It's on it's way to your house:http://cdn.ebaumsworld.com/mediaFiles/picture/1015945/84137575.gif
Reider Verified Member Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 88-90 MPH fastballs down the middle should be hit hard somewhere by a hitter like Joe Mauer.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 He made a great play down the line saving a run or two and he's made some more plays too. Good to hear. Didn't tune in until the 6th, and even then there were the occasional lapses in concentration due to the crazy scoreboard background behind the pitchers... http://i.makeagif.com/media/9-21-2015/2gufuP.gif
Willihammer Provisional Member Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 Way to squander a leadoff single Mollie.

And he wasn't skittish of people. He'd been neutered and blood work didn't show any of the typical stray cat diseases like FIV. His teeth were good. And he's 2-3 yrs old. And given the fact he was found wandering soon after the 1st of the month, vet is 99% convinced he was abandoned. Says he sees it all the time.
HitInAPinch Verified Member Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 Could really use another HR from Sano. Cleveland bullpen is pretty tough.
tharasix Provisional Member Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 And we got that quality at bat from Sano.

Reider Verified Member Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 Could really use another HR from Sano. Cleveland bullpen is pretty tough. Agreed. It would help if he'd take the bat off of his shoulder.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 Way to squander a leadoff single Mollie. No, not squandering, investing! In a lottery ticket.

Friends of mine out posters all over the neighborhood and registered him on lost pets IL website ... no response. Given the timing, the vet said that whoever had him likely moved and just left him behind. I mean, could have at least taken him to a shelter or found a home for him, but they just left him. Or they put him out. But no one is looking for him and as I said, his size, nature and health do not indicate in the slightest that he was a stray.
Willihammer Provisional Member Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 Lol. Ball one."Ah just put him on."

It is a little bit of speculation on my part and it is possible that the dog was a run away that the owners did not find. I lean more towards her being abandoned, because no one ever called animal control looking for her and I never had an experience of her completely running off when she escaped from me (although it is possible she might have had a bigger tendency to run before, and she might have been a bit more motivated not to be out of my sight after losing her first owners). Also, and this is even bigger speculation, she was two and not spayed (she is not a purebred who you would plan on breeding), which led me to wonder if she was not getting the care she needed.
Winston Smith Verified Member Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 Sano would have had that he's very athletic.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 Holy crap! What a catch by Kepler! Krap!ler! Edit: Keptomaniac steals a hit! is better, I think.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 Sano would have had that he's very athletic. If Sano had caught that then Target Field would be the first MLB ballpark with a subway station in the outfield.
PDX Twin Verified Member Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 Would it be astronomically outrageous to say that Herr Kepler might become a star?
Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 I want to see a walk-off hit from Beresford!
