Foltynewicz has thrown 62 pitches in 2 innings.

That seems almost impossible to achieve.

C'mon guys, neither of our "RBI" guys, Plouffe & Vargas, can hit a fly ball to get the runner in from third? Players need to know how to get these runs in!

Plouffe got a runner in in the first, so yes, I think he knows how.

I've had about enough of Kyle. Guy hardly ever seems to have a clean inning. I know he had that doozy of a game in Boston, but he's been brutal lately.

Gah. Even a #5 pitcher needs to be able to control a game like this against the worst offense in baseball. Especially when you're handed an early lead and your offense is threatening to pile on for you. Just put up a relatively clean 7 innings and your bullpen and rest of the team relax for once.

Based on the guys around him, it's not as though he's got a lot of good examples to learn from.

So I got here late, caught up on TiVo, and in the first three defensive innings we have missed two backhand GB's, and did not block a low ball with a guy on first. The low ball was a garden variety ball right in front of Centeno. I don't know whether the two grounders could have been turned into outs, but both should have been fielded. Our defense up the middle is cr*p!
