jimmer Verified Member Posted July 30, 2016 Posted July 30, 2016 I thought he said the Red Sox, too.I just copied and pasted from the article I just read.
jimmer Verified Member Posted July 30, 2016 Posted July 30, 2016 Lucroy's no-trade list does not mean that he would block a trade to Cleveland, especially since the American League Central-leading Indians are a strong playoff contender. But Lucroy could use his ability to block a trade as leverage in negotiations, for example, to attempt to secure an extension.

Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted July 30, 2016 Author Posted July 30, 2016 Lot of speculation was that Lucroy would go to the Indians. Apparently, not so much. The list is used primarily as leverage. jimmer 1

Bark's Lounge Verified Member Posted July 30, 2016 Posted July 30, 2016 I love Paul Molitor. He is a hometown hero for me. It makes me sad to say that he needs to go after this season, along with the whole coaching staff. The bunting obsession has me all ****ed up. To shake things up, I would have Buxton leading off. Let's put him in a position of importance and see how it goes. I am not an extremist about how baseball should be played, but the Twins are out of touch. I understand that Tom Kelly was Molitor's mentor from a coaching stand point. But that idealism is long gone... at least 10 years gone, probably more.
